Recommendations on a good motherboard that goes well with an i5 4690k?

I was thinking about a Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3, but I'm not sure. Would be preferable if it was around the same price range as the Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3, but I'm open to suggestions.

I used a AsRock Z97 Extreme 6 and have had a great experience. It is super easy to over clock or if you aren't comfortable with messing with the settings there are several preset over clocks you can select. I have gotten stable 4.5 ghz overclocks with my Corsair H110i GTX.

I'm using a Z97 PC MATE with mine. No issues whatsoever, overclocked the CPU to 4.2 ghz. I had to stop though, as I'm still using stock cooler for the next week.

I digress.. There's no issues with using the i5 with Z97 PC MATE.
It's £64 though*

Gigabyte make good motherboards.just bear in mind if you choose to water cool your CPU you will neglect other motherboard components.one solution to this would be to buy a cheap waterblock with the intake / outlet on the side of the block and then fit a downward blowing fan ontop of it , thus water cooling the CPU and air cooling the other components simultaneously.

That's a good mobo at the $100 price point, the ASRock Pro 4 is close to that
