Hi all
Recently built a new PC couple days ago, with NZXT H9 Flow case, LS270 360mm Liquid Cooling, bunch of Artic P12 and P14 PST fans in regards cooling etc.
All with the computer is fine, however I've noticed the CPU fan connected with the LS270 cooler, and also one of the SYSFans (SYSFan 5), are running at far higher RPM (2500 and 5000 RPM respectively) than the other fans. Going into the BIOS and checking, I usually set Fans to Smart control so the fan speed is automatically controlled, however in these case of CPUFan and SYSFan 5 are smart controlled like the others, but they are not reducing their RPM. The Other fans are running at 900 RPM or so.
The temperature charts show that they should also not be hitting anywhere near the RPM given the current CPU/SYS Temp. I honestly don't know why these fans are running this fast and can't seem to change the conclusion in the BIOS.
Is there any good free Fan Control software that might be able to help for me to change CPU/SYS fan settings that will overwrite BIOS?
any help appreciated.
