Would like to never go below 240fps.
Right now I've got a i7 7700k @ 4.7ghz + gtx 970 @ 1500mhz
Dips to 170-220 fps in some cases during matchmaking.
Running at 1080p all low settings.
I got an avg FPS of 259 in the CS:GO benchmark with this System:
I5 7600k
MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X
16GB of 2133HZ with low latency Ram
Samsung EVO 850 NVME
CoolerMaster 650W Pure Power 9
Coolermasters Slim Cooler for CPU (I would not buy this one again bc i can´t overclock with it!!!) Better get Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4
ASRock z270 Pro4 MOBO
1% low FPS is @ 220 and in Smoke you got around 80-100FPS
PS: I got an Asus pg258q and it´s fking amazing to play with this System/Monitor!!!
Note: I could feel (and yeah in my opinion) i could play better than i did with just 160fps avg.
980 ti maybe? I dont think the 1000 series tend to give any improvement in CS:GO, due to the ancient engine.
I don't know really, I did look at a comparison between gtx 1060,1070 and 1080 both the 1070 and 1080 were performing way better than the 1060 in csgo. Question is tho how much the 1060 is better than 970 in csgo
Can't be entirely sure at work, but I get around 190fps on avg (including drops. If you get b-rushed with a lot of utility you can't hold the FPS obviously)

I average about 350fps with my setup and the gtx 970 however those fps drops....
