I bought a nice little Disc Title Printer (the Casio CW-75) for
labeling my homemade CDs and DVDs. While the device is quite cool, it
requires discs that are completely smooth (no matte surface) and don't
have any printing on them. An interesting catch is that "printable"
discs like the ones Memorex sells don't work very well with Casio's
thermal transfer title printers because printable CDs are designed
for ink-jets.
Casio provides a "recommended media" page for their title printers,
however there is no information for North America at present:

Can anyone tell me who makes these completely blank CDs/DVDs and where
I might be able to get them? I've shopped at local stores with no
success, and a fair amount online- but at the sites I visited it was
impossible to tell whether the discs would meet my requirements. If
you use one of these Casio printers, what kind of discs do you use,
and where did you get them?
By the way, Casio does sell some silver CDs at their CW-75 accessories
page (http://makeashorterlink.com/?Z2A013B49) but they are at least 3
times more expensive than necessary, and they do NOT offer any DVD-R
media for sale.
