Recommended media for Casio CW-75 Disc Title Printer?

I bought a nice little Disc Title Printer (the Casio CW-75) for
labeling my homemade CDs and DVDs. While the device is quite cool, it
requires discs that are completely smooth (no matte surface) and don't
have any printing on them. An interesting catch is that "printable"
discs like the ones Memorex sells don't work very well with Casio's
thermal transfer title printers because printable CDs are designed
for ink-jets.

Casio provides a "recommended media" page for their title printers,
however there is no information for North America at present:
http://world.casio.com/ds/media/

Can anyone tell me who makes these completely blank CDs/DVDs and where
I might be able to get them? I've shopped at local stores with no
success, and a fair amount online- but at the sites I visited it was
impossible to tell whether the discs would meet my requirements. If
you use one of these Casio printers, what kind of discs do you use,
and where did you get them?

By the way, Casio does sell some silver CDs at their CW-75 accessories
page (http://makeashorterlink.com/?Z2A013B49) but they are at least 3
times more expensive than necessary, and they do NOT offer any DVD-R
media for sale.

Thanks for any advice.

I strongly recommend ProDisc DVD R and Ritek CDR. They both can be had with
completely blank, shiny silver tops.

www.meritline.com
www.allmediaoutlet.com

ProDisc are Pioneer Lab A certified and work terrific at all speeds up to
8x.

I have the same printer :)

PS

Beware that many Ritek DVD-Rs are mis-represented. A lot of these now are
embossed (I had to send a bunch back to www.supermediastore.com).

I have been thrilled with the performance of the ProDisc DVD-Rs I have used.

You're welcome. I would also note that I never do as Casio suggests and
print the label first....I always do that after recording. I have never had
a disc fail after over 300 printed. YMMV. DVD-R such as ProDisc are
especially designed with a polycarbonate layer that withstands thermal
transfer.
