Hi, I am planning to buy Uninterrupted power supply for my upcoming rig (i3 8th and gtx1060). however, I am not sure if 650va w/ 325 watts is enough or should I go for more watts?

Solution
First question to ask yourself is how long do you wish to work if main power goes off. Just enough time to gracefully shutdown or maybe work for some amount of time.

Try a couple of online calculators via known UPS manufacturers. E.g.:

https://www.apc.com/shop/us/en/tools/ups_selector

There are other similar calculators to be found. Try them as well. Keep the input data consistent.

Very likely that there will be a consensus value on the necessary wattage.

I have two APC Back-UPS ES-650's that I use for the same purpose (just need time to shutdown) on my main pc and my backup pc.

One PSU is 450 watts, the other is 500 watts. (Not heavy gaming systems.....)

Only pc and monitor connected to battery backup outlets.

So I will have a few minutes to "get back to" the computer in use and execute a graceful shutdown.
