So I recently built a new computer and would like to know how many watts I should be drawing for an Intel Core i9-10940X overclocked to 4.6 GHz. I left the power draw on “Auto” and it’s currently drawing 0.94W at 4.6 GHz. If it helps, I have six fans in total— three intake and three exhaust, two of which belong to my MSI CoreLiquid 240R AIO CPU Cooler. I have an 850W power supply.

With a nominal 840 Watt PSU that should be more than enough wattage for most systems.

Are you planning some changes?

The guiding documentation should be the motherboard's and the CPU's User Guide/Manual with respect to supported hardware and hardware configurations (OC).

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

What is the particular concern with respect to drawing 0.94W at 4.6 GHz?

At full load (Cinebench, rendering, Prime95), it will probably peak at 150-200 watts from the wall....or more.

Not sure where you read sub-1 watt from. but , rest assured,...you are not drawing but 9 tenths of one measly watt at load. :)

Hardware Unboxed' testing of the 10940X had it drawing 358 watts in Blender...
