Question Recording settings in OBS with AMD

Hi everyone I've been watching some videos on youtube but so far everyone seems to have nvidia cards giving a unique response when it comes to which encoder to choose. In my case i have the following pc specs:

AMD ryzen 3 3200g
RX6600 8gb
B450M PRO 4-F
16GB RAM

My options under the encoder tab are:
Software 264x
Hardware AMD

Well software 264x is going to reduce your FPS due to the cpu only being 4core and most games using more than that and hardware is going to reduce your FPS because the GPU uses the same shaders it uses for the game to encode the video.

There is no good answer here, you will have to experiment with each game you want to record to find the best settings for each.
