Recover data from GPT to NTFS formatted HDD

Hi, I had 2 GPT partitions and today I rmformatted both to make them NTFS, but after completing formation I realized that I had a very important files to save, now it's lost! Please tell me which program did help you to bring your data back, there is a sea of no working programs.. save my life ;(

If nothing has been written to the partitions other than the format you may be able to retrieve most, if not all of your data. If you have written to them then you have lost anything that was overwritten.

if you have another pc or drive with windows on it to use temporarily, i've had great luck with power data recovery when no other options have worked. now, it is paid software, but free up to 1gb. i'd try some of the freeware softwares first though.

the most important thing is to NOT write anything to the drive. do not use it to boot from, copy to or any other task except read from. the more you write to it the slimmer your chances of recovery.

Guys thanks for your responds, since its 1TB HDD and I have already installed Windows , chances for getting the file back becomes less, but there is still a hope, I will look into these programs, thank you
