Hi everyone,

We are unable to boot into Windows 10 (the busy spinning symbol just keeps spinning without Windows loading up) and was wondering if it is possible to recover desktop files from the laptop somehow? Can I just plug the harddrive into another laptop and the files will appear or another way?

Any suggestions on the above are much appreciated :)

If the laptop can support multiple drives, then yes.

Normally you'd connect it to a desktop pc as secondary drive (not OS drive) and recover data from it.

Or you could use USB adapter to connect drive to other laptop/pc.
Choice of adapter depends on drive type being used.
USB sata adapter for 2.5"drives,
USB M.2 adapter for NVME drives,
USB M.2 adapter for SATA M.2 drives.
