Recovered data larger than my harddrive?

I accidentally cleaned out my hard drive (long story) and had to use EaseUS Data Recovery to retrieve all of my lost files (cost a whopping $70 for the software) but the retrieved files are 1.69 Terabytes while my hard drive is only 1 Terabyte. Is there any way I could recover them to a zip file or anything similar so it would fit? I'd appreciate any help!

$70 is cheap to recover data, if you had issues it can cost several 100 to get the disk to a recovery specialist.

If you are trying to recover files from a drive, get a second drive to hold those recovered files. From the sound of things you need a backup drive anyway.
