Question Recovering deleted USB files

Hi everyone!

I had a USB drive with some important documents on it. Some days ago, I also had to download Windows 10 onto the USB drive for my new game pc. I picked one of the USB drives on my desk, didn't pay a lot of attention to the content of the USB Drive, deleted the docs and downloaded Windows 10... And today, I found out that I picked the important USB drive with the documents I needed.

My question is: Is there a way to recover these documents from my USB drive, even though it might be overwritten by Windows10?

No , they are gone.

You can try portable Recuva....do a deep scan on the flash drive in question

but, naturally, if the files were overwritten by the Win10 iso, they are gone...(as Mr. Spok would have said, 'Such life would be destroyed in favor of the new matrix'!)

If your USB was 16 or 32 GB, you could get lucky and hope the ISO went were your files were not....

Hmmm I see... It was a 16 gb drive indeed, so I guess I can give it a try
