Okay so,
I am a music producer, i use FL Studio and i make great music
The project files that i have on my hard drive means alot to me and i put time and effort on it (20+ hours on many projects)
So, what really happen is after 3 months usage of my used 250gb harddrive got slower and slower.
I got BSOD because: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT.
Basically I was playing The Forest with my best friend and was gonna open Mozilla Firefox.
I only have 4GB of RAM and that was a major problem.
FL Studio also made me crash sometimes because of memory.
FL Studio doesn't load samples or loops from the harddrive, it basically stores sound into my RAM and eats the storage up there.
Shame Image-Line...
And sometime something about storage failure.. i don't know.
Not forget to mention, this HDD is since 2012 and has been up and running over a year. Windows goes automatically to "preparing automatic repair" for some reasons and does not boot into Windows.
I cannot even boot into Safe Mode and tried putting a USB in it. But if I do that, it will stay in boot screen forever and ever. Basically booting screen comes up (ring loading) and then its just black.
I've put my computer over 40min to load, still nothing.
This harddrive is very very slow and I compared it to my second harddrive wich is a 320gb 5400RPM laptop harddrive.
70MB/s read and write on my second HDD and on my main HDD has 70MB/s read and 50 or less write. The harddrive is also even slowing down the BIOS and all other stuff.
I was wondering even if I even could recover the files in anyway.
By the way, I cannot access the HDD in file explorer when it is plugged in my system.
It is in Hot Plug aka Hot Swap Mode and when I plug it out, Windows gets faster.
100% usage in task manager.
Should i do chkdsk or use any program to fix this?
