Hello,
Vista Restore Problem on Sony laptop

Problem began with the IRS virus. It wiped my computer. So I cleaned the HDD and ordered the factory recovery media set (3DVDs) from Sony. Was able to save most data files before deleting everything else off the HDD. It now starts with the Restore DVD but stops with the message OS not found. What do I do next?
If I tap on F11 it goes to “Windows is loading files” then it asks to select an operating system, none appear so it reads if you do not see your OS listed, click Load Drivers. When I click load drivers it asks for “the installation media for the device”Click OK and it reads the DVD Recovery Disk 1, but nothing here works

Sounds like your not booting off the DVD drive.
