My Win 11 system has several SATA hard drives and I get very confused over the recycle bins when I accidentally delete a file.

I can not see the file I just deleted. I seem to remember there is a recycle bin for each drive but file explorer only show one.

I use winaero Tweaker to configure what explorer shows but it can't resolve the issue. Deleted files just vanish!

Solution
You do get one per drive but the properties of the Recycle bin desktop shortcut should be linked to all of them. So it should show contents of all drives.

You can change size and also set it so if you delete it doesn't keep any records, maybe check if that is unticked. I don't think I see a way to set its location.
