I am not sure this was the case before, but I just found out there is a red constant and an orange blinking light on my ethernet port on my mb (Mpg z390i edge ac). I read about it and supposedly red means lower bandwidth.
I tried several speedtests and they all state 500 download and upload still. Do they perhaps indicate another problem?
In addition I also have a post where I am having trouble with bufferbloat. I wonder if there is any corralation between the two problems. While gaming I also feel like I am dropping packets where in fps shooters my shots simply do not register, sometimes on a person standing dead still...
