Question Red boot light, but pc works perfectly

Around half the time I turn my PC on a little red light comes on that says BOOT under it on my motherboard. This can annoy me but it hasn't seemed to have affected my system at all, any ideas on why this happens?

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's best if you included your system's specs for your entire build. This helps remove many questions and helps get you above the waterline, faster. Include the make and model of your PSU and it's age.

Check to see what BIOS version you're on currently and cross reference the BIOS version on your motherboard manufacturer's support site.
