Hi,

I’ve just built my new PC, and I turn it on. The GPU has full power (LEDs on) but there is no signal, and the Ez debug VGA led is on. Dead GPU?

My GPU is a 2080 Ti

It has a 6 pin connector and 2 8 pins. Did I have to plug in the 6 pin?

Yes, I used separate cables for each... my PSU is a Corsair RM850x. I’m probably gonna be taking it to the technician because I feel it’s a power related issue...
Good idea. Keep us posted.

My next suspect would be the cpu - bent or broken socket pins and cooler mounting pressure(overtightened screws).

Ryzen 3000 isn't nearly as picky about memory as 1000 and 2000, but this could also be playing a part too.

Keyword... Weird stuff happens sometimes.

-The gpu is fully seated in the top x16 slot
-You've got a 6+2-pin cable plugged into the gpu's 8-pin socket and another 6+2 cable in the other 8-pin socket, and a 6-pin cable in the single 6-pin socket, so there should be no issues powering the card... unless one of your cables is defective - or even the gpu itself(hope not).
