Hello,

I have encountered a problem with my PC.
On the PCI-E plug-in on the GPU there's a red light flashing. Sometimes one of my monitors are going black and when I restart it, it starts up with low resolution until I reboot the PC.
I've tried updating BIOS and ME on the mobo and the GPU driver with no prevail.

I have the following setup:

- Rog Strix Z490-F Gaming
- Nvidia Geforce RTX3070
- Corsair RM650X Gold

I have considered the PSU but it has not been a problem up until this point and has been working for 4 years now.
Does anyone have an idea as to what could be the cause of this? And please let me know if additional information is needed.

red blinking led at the power connection is triggered primarily from loss of power, or in some instances, a driver issue.

i would start with running the DDR completely remove the software and driver, and download and install fresh.. if it still blinks, i would try a new power supply. i would suggest a 850w to be foreword compatible for potential upgrades further down the road.

depending on your make and model of 3070, idle power usage is typically around 50w, and peak ranges anywhere between 220-450w (again depending on manufacturer and model of 3070).. you may be under powering it, depending on what else you have in and hooked up to your rig.
