Red patterns all over the display screen?

Hi,
My laptop display show red patterned lines spread all over the screen when turned on. They only appear in colored backgrounds, videos and wallpapers and not on blank white windows and menus (see screenshots).

Can it be solved or I have to replace the screen?

Increase color depth in Display Driver settings.
Or reinstall display drivers.

Thanks SkyNetRising, I am already using the highest depth i.e. 32 bit.
I reinstalled the display driver (Mobile Intel 4 series express chipset family), but it was not effective either.
Any other way out plz?
