Apologies if the answer is already here somewhere.
I recently had a discussion with a guy (via email) re. a website he is partly responsible for, which basically sells subscriptions for IPTV packages.
He gave me his website address and told me that the website I had looked at was a scam site and if I paid money via that one, I wouldn't receive the service I requested - in fact I'd get nothing at all.
His website is <name>.com, the so-called scam site is <name>.tv and a lookup shows they are owned by different organisations.
When I enter both sites, the .tv site's homepage is different from .com's but going further in - they are identical in every respect. By that I mean the addresses shown in the address bar are identical and the webpages are exactly the same, as you would expect.
How can I prove that the .tv really is a scam site when both sites look like the real thing ??
