I own the Logitech Z533. It has a decent subwoofer which has no separate dial for bass. Unfortunately, due to my current living situation - I really can't have any bass. It vibrates through the walls and floor very loudly.

I wouldn't even want to remove it completely, just greatly reduce. I'm trying to reduce it in Windows 10.

First I tried it in speak audio settings, but that didn't help. I then downloaded Realtek audio drivers and tried the equalizer there. But that doesn't really change anything either. There is still a lot of bass in some media.

Here are my current settings (which don't really help)

Solution
sub "earth quake" effect is from 80Hz and below, 90-140Hz is just bass and kicks which doesnt shake room that much
anyway to remove (hide) all that bass, diall down 31,62,125 to -12dB and 250 and higer set to +12 dB
reduce volume and bass should be gone
