Reformatting on Windows 7?

Hey,

So some of my startup files have been corrupted with trojans and for general clean-up purposes (old video games, etc.) I would like to just take my system back to square one and boot from the reinstallation disk. I've built machines and fed programs to them before but have never wiped one out then did it, was curious as to how I would go about completing such a task?
