refresh rate adjust Quadro FX770M - 59.87 Hz

Dear Forum, I would like to adjust my projector refresh rate to a precise frequency (let's say 58.54 Hz).
From Nvidia Control Panel I can create a custom resolution, than choose manual sync (I have the italian version of GUI: "temporizzazione manuale"), than I adjust resfresh rate with 0.001 precision.
I can test it, it works.
But when I save it, it will be saved in integer number: 59 Hz.

It is fundamental to have a decimal refresh rate in order to sync a camera in a Structured Light 3D scanner.

How can I tweak the projector refresh rate?

I assume you've actually tested this to be a problem?

I would expect "59Hz" to just be standardized rounding of, say 58.54Hz, and not necessarily conclusive that you're running @ 59Hz

Here's what I did:
Create custom resolution\manual sync\refresh 59.023\test\save this resolution?yes\

than when I choose custom resolution\apply: it switched automathically to native resolution.

If I open a saved custom resolution, I find the edited rate 59.012 moved to 59.000
