So, before this starts, I am on 165hz. I have checked multiple times on multiple different stuff, and my monitor is 100% on 165hz.
On Nvidia control panel it is on 165, on my display settings, even in my monitor settings from the side buttons it is on 165hz.

this is my problem. I am on 165hz, but whenever I play FPS games, it feels like im on 60. The game is super stuttery, and I have choppy gameplay, but very high fps.

I also did this star hz test, and I can see the 165 frames perfectly, and it is very smooth. However, my games feel much like the 41 fps or 83 fps one.
I'm not really sure how to fix this, and I've researched for continous times, and can't find an answer. I have updated all my drivers, switched wires, im on display port, I have done everything needed but for some reason, this is still happening.
