I recently installed an Hyper evo 212 x on my cpu (i5-4670k). And the temps are now pretty good as I dont know why but earlier GTA 5 with stock cooler used to go upto whooping 86 c now it barely reached 60 and gives constant 55-56 after hours of gaming.
However Iam worried about the airflow as my case is an average Cooler Master Elite 311. Therefore I had one Case cooler Cooler Master Sickle Flow X which I installed As a Rear Exhaust and a very generic and bad cooler master fan which came as a stock on side panel as intake which I will change. In my case there is mainly three slots for fans front, side and rear.
I want suggestions from you guys as to what 120mm case fan I should buy(just two as Iam keeping Sickleflow x), and what should be the arrangement of the fans i.e which fan to be installed where and whether exhaust or intake. I dont mind fan getting noisy and the price should not be something that may blow my budget which is upto 18$ each fan.
Your help will be highly appreciated.

Sickleflow all the way. They look great and are affordable, while offering good performance. If you want better performance, I would recommend a 2 pack of corsair air series SP120 fans. The 2 pack itself costs $26 so its around your budget. There won't be a large difference in temps between the sickleflows and the SP120 fans.

The SP version is (Static Pressure), meant for Coolers and Radiators. Of course they would still work as case fans, but the AF (Air Flow) version would be better option.

So If I get SP120 how should I arrange it , where should I place it (rear, side or front). and should it be exhaust or intake. Plus do I need to change position of my sickleflow x from rear to anyother place or it is good there

How about Cooler Master XtraFlo. Plus any suggestions regarding arrangement of fans (side, rear and front)

I haven't personally used Cooler Master XtraFlo, as a few people I know who have used them, said they were a little loud, not crazy loud but still a bit noisy.

You want more Intake fans than Exhaust to give you Positive pressure. If you have more exhaust than intake you will be sucking air in through any vents and holes which will build up dust.

So sickleflow x is good as an exhaust or should I exchange its position with other fan

Curious, why do you personally go for Negative pressure?? When tests show better results with Positive pressure.

How about cooler master jetflo 120 .
and whether I should keep it as exhaust and two sickle flow as intake. (Same thing with af.120)

Bottom line, you'll want the Corsair AF 120's on the front for intake and the xtra flow on the rear for exhaust. This causes a phenomena known as positive air pressure, where more air is in the PC than outside of it. Thus, air is pushed out of the case maintaining equilibrium with the air pressure. Since air is being pushed out, dust will have a harder time settling.

No problem :)

Yep, exactly what I said :sarcastic: 😉

Iam familiar with postive air pressure and believe me I was going with the same
. However I need to keep sickle flow x and can only buy 2 fans. you suggested xtra flow on rear. So what should I do ? can I replace cooler master xtra flow with the af's.

yes yes yes.... but I like phantek or noctua fans. they move a lot of air and are quality and quiet....

I cant replace my sickleflow x. Is the xtraflo Highy reccomended by you?

I will select the best answer once I get my doubts clear :) . So can I just have one sickle flo at exhaust one xtra flo at side and af 120 or jetflo at the front. Btw you guys have been highly helpful :) .
