I need some help with my Windows Vista computer..

Is an all in one, 32 bit home premium.

A few days ago we suffered a power outage and the computer reset itself to factory settings after not being powered for a good couple of hours. Anyhow, after setting the clock I ran Windows and everything was normal up until I went to put it to sleep.

It won't sleep properly. When I hit sleep, it goes through the motion and it shuts the screen to black but the fans stay on and when I click back, the mouse or anything won't bring it back up.

I am force to shut it down then back on.

This is very frustrating. I know this is a common issue and I have read a lot of possible fixes but none have worked thus far.

Things I've done:

Device manager, made sure mouse and keyboard were checked with "allow this device to put computer to sleep"

Power options set to sleep tab to allow to sleep. Etc

The wierd thing is that after restarting the computer and I make it sleep , it will.

Seems like after a set amount of time when I do, it hangs.
