I have added a couple of times the two locations of "Run" into the
favourites for ease to access..... everynow and again, I run Regedit.exe,
and the favourites have gone? What is deleting them?

Regards.
Paul.

Do you by chance use the Ad-aware tool? I suspect that using the
software to erase the MRU lists will delete the data since I
experience the same here and used this function before for the first
time.

Regedit Favorites are themselves stored in the key at
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\applets\
\Regedit\Favorites

I would set them up (Favorites) and then export that key, which
you can use to restore (Import) them.

Yes I do use Ad-aware.... I might test that, add the favourites, and run it,
see if they go, and I'm also going to do the tip that R. McCarty said about,
adding the Fav, and exporting the Fav key, so it is easier to import...

Thanks Guys.

Yup, it did clear them, I've also now added the favourites MRU to the ignore
option on AdAdware

The order in the menu is the order in the registry. Regedit sorts the display and does not show registry order. So if you want to reorder them in the menu now is the time to edit the reg file.
