Registry doesn't exist for new user profile.

Could I somehow copy the profile from one computer to another? Is the registry all inside of the NTUSER.DAT file?

I think it's somehow linked to your bios, because motherboard changes will prompt you to re-validate/re-enter key, not hard drive changes. In short, I don't think you can yourself copy anything. Contacting microsoft tech support for this is your best bet.
