More info?)
It depends on how you want to setup Win2k again and if you have already
partitioned the hard drive.
Most people, now setup 2 paritions on Win2k. A SYSTEM partition and DATA
partition. The system contains all the Win2k system files whereas the DATA
contains program files and user data.
If Win2k ever gets corrupted you could re-format the SYSTEM partition and
never loose your data.
Now, if you have a single partition you can re-load the Win2k system files
from CDROM without loosing your personal data. However please note that you
may need your original software disks/cdmedia to re-install DLL's and icons
etc. To do this just boot off your Win2k CDROM and select install - but DO
NOT parition or format!!
Hope this helps
