reinstalled amd catalyst and updated my driver but it causes blue screen

my graphic card was broken due to overheating over a month ago, so i sent it to the shop for repair. i noticed the graphic card's performance was lower than it originally was but i ignored it. then i realised my laptop ran on intel graphic card when i tried to check my graphic card's model. so, i update my driver only to realise that i no longer have amd catalyst. so installed it, updated the driver, and ever since then i keeps on getting blue screen of death. please help me solving this problem, asap, i already exhausted my solutions. thanks 🙁

Was the shop reputable?

Its possible that the hardware failed by overheating as you said and they just uninstalled the AMD driver
leaving you with intel graphics only to work around the problem. If that is the case you would have to get
the hardware repaired or replaced.

First of all you need to TOTALLY remove all the old drivers. Use this link.

Note:
Select the respective company(i.e Nvidia or ATI) drivers to be uninstalled.
Use clean and restart option.
And then install the new drivers after rebooting.

im not sure about that.. when i ran amd's autodetect, it detected my graphic card (radeon hd 6300m). when i installed amd catalyst 14.9 driver then i restarted my laptop, my windows cant boot. i forced it to shut down, then it boot up until i entered my password, after that it went black.

i did that, installed the new driver (amd catalyst 14.9 driver) but it made my laptop refused to boot and/or the screen went black

Sometimes the laptop manufacturers provide modified versions of the AMD drivers on their website. You might check the web page for your model
to see if there is other drivers available. If there is you should try those ones.

If that doesn't work then I am afraid it is almost surely a hardware issue

Sorry for this very late reply (and also identical solution to another problem here), but for anyone still having similar issues...

A common cause of a BSoD is an overheating CPU. Check it's temperature when using hardware acceleration, Catalyst Control Center/AMD Settings, converting files, or anything else that could possibly cause your CPU to work harder. Anything above 80 degrees celsius (176 F) is too hot.

If it IS getting too hot, check that your thermal paste hasn't dried up. If the paste is ok but your CPU is still overheating, then you'll have to get a better cooler.
