Hi people,

So basically the drive I am talking about had windows Bit locker enabled, my colleague reinstalled windows on it thinking all of the contents had been backed up (but it was not). So my problem is now, I can use a recovery software to try to recover it (even tho I know it might not find all of the data). But in this case the data I am talking about had been encrypted with Windows Bit Locker and I have the decryption key of it. So I was thinking to try and recover the lost files (it will most likely be found as encrypted files), and somehow use the decryption key which I have to try and decrypt them.
The problem is, I don't know how to do it and I don't even know if there is a possibility to do it.
I am willing to try it since it is for a client of ours. And that is where I need the help of someone who has more experience with this.
