Reinstalled Windows 7, Don't know what drivers to get?! :(

Hi everyone,

I had Windows 10 and it began to lag on me horribly so I formatted it and reinstalled Windows 7. Now, I cannot access any Internet or anything and I am aware that I need to install drivers.

But, where do I go to do that?

Do I go to the page for my motherboard Z97 G45 MSI website and download it from there? There are about 10 downloads. I just download those and run them all? Or do I have to go to Intel and do the same for my processor?

I have the following:

Z97 G45 Gaming Motherboard
Intel i5 4690K 3.5 Ghz Processor
GTX 960 GPU

thank you!

You don't need to reply three times with the exact same post, just clutters things. Anyone that posted in the tread will get an update when you add something.

That is clearly a custom system, how did you install the drivers in the first place? Do it the same way now.

You said you were getting the Windows 7 32 bit drivers, do you have a 32 bit system?

Just go to the manufacturer for your computers parts and download/install the latest drivers.

I always recommend you run a backup first before you run the updates. Something like a bad driver update can ruin your day if you're not careful. I use a Snapshot program called Rollback Rx but other Snapshot tools like Comodo Time Machine or a disk imager will work too.

This computer is literally on my nerves and I am about to chuck it and get a Mac. I downloaded each and every driver, some worked and some did not. For installing the Network driver, there should be a place where it says Win7 32 where I can go through the setup and it automatically does it. But I don't see it at all. I made sure I was on Win7 32 when I was on the site for my motherboard drivers.

The Nvidia website is also crashing on the site to get the drivers. Is it because I am downloading on a Mac and putting it on a USB? This is horrible.
