Reinstalled Windows and PC is now stuck on boot screen

Reinstalled windows 7 home premium using a disc, my pc rebooted and is now stuck on the ASUS motherboard screen, USB and ps/2 keyboards wont work so i can't progress. It just says 'Press DEL to run setup' etc. Any help would be appreciated thanks

turn the pc off. then turn it on and hit del go into the bios. check that the data and time is fine. if it a newer efi bios make sure the mb set to standard not performance mode on the main bios page. in the advance mode of the bios under ai tab under dram speed make sure ram set to xmp profile if it an intel mb. under the sata chipset make sure the ports set to achi mode not raid or ide. on the mb check that your hard drive on the intel or amd sata ports. some mb have acmedia sata ports and are only data drive not os drive ports. check that your windows cd is not the upgrade dvd it may not be bootable.
if you downloaded a torrent copy of windows from another pc download a good copy from digital rivers web page.
