How to relocate Windows 10 print spooler folder. I want to use my ramdrive instead of the system drive. I often produce large postscript files that take 5 minutes or more to actually complete the printing (print to .PS file, for distillation, or sometimes directly to PDF)

I see instructions for W7 but the same "Advanced" options in printer properties are not there for W10.

All of the articles I can find pre-date W10 by several years.

Solution
I found it!

First create a folder "spool" in the desired location (ram drive or a fast SSD, etc)

Open Devices and Printers control Panel. DO NOT select a printer (since this setting affects all printers). There's a blue tinted (on my machine) menu bar under the File...Edit...View... menu. Click "Print Server Properties" then the "Advanced" tab. There you will see the location of the spool folder. At lower left click "Change Advanced Settings" and then you can enter the path to the spool folder on your designated drive.

My error in not seeing this sooner was to think (or not think, as the case was<G>) this setting applied to a specific printer.
