Hi. We have 10 RemotePC hosts that are all Windows 10 computers and have had that setup for years. Recently, just one host pc has begun to show as greyed out on our lists of hosts. I first thought the power was off at that pc but it was not. I uninstalled and reinstall the RemotePC host software. Things looked normal and I connected from other nearby computers. When I drove home (about 20 minutes) the specific pc was not available - greyed out.

I repeated this pattern now three times with the same results. Everything looks fine and then 15-20 minutes later the pc is unavailable. The other 9 RemotePC hosts are always on and never go grey unless the power goes out in our building.

I'm beginning to think that one pc is having hardware problems since the software is so simple. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you.

On that remote PC have someone check its logs via Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

The logs may be capturing some error code, warning, or even and informational event just before or at the time that the PC "greys out" and becomes unaccessible.

Improperly shutdown errors, for example, could be a result of a faulty/failing PSU.

Thank you. That is very good advice and check out the logs as soon as possible. Thanks, again.
