Remove Connector on Motherboard

There's a piece of plastic from my old PSU stuck in the socket, which is stopping the new one from fitting in but the old one is fitting in fine.

How the hell do I get this out, Ive tried but its not budging - can you remove the blue plastic connector from the motherboard somehow and put it back on - because I don't think Ill be able to get it out any other way.

That looks bad, you can remove the blue connector but that could make things worse, what i'd in a extreme situation like this, i'd cut with a cutter the corner of the blue connector so you can take out that black plastic, do this as your last resource, just be carefull with the tab that locks the connector, dont cut there.
