Remove drive cages of Corsair SPEC-01

Need to fit a long gpu into the case, about 12 inches or 304 mm, and I know that the case has max length of 414mm, but the drive cages are probably more than 110mm in width. So can I remove the drive cage? Also could just removing some drive bays give me extra room?

Yes, according to this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EauSxmPeLOg you can remove the drive bay cage. Start viewing at the 9:50 mark to see. Yes, it would give you a little extra room. There is only one hard drive cage.

A single card should fit in that case easily without HDD cage removal.
