Remove Write protection from PNY Classic Attache usb flash drive

How do I remove the write protection from a PNY Classic Attache 128GB usb flash drive. Windows XP or Mac OS Lion

If it doesn't have a sliding "write protect" switch on it as shown in step 2, try step 5 or step 6 on this page:

There isn't any switch on the flash drive. The flash drive doesn't show up in the DOS window in step 5. There is no "Storage Device Policies" in step 6. I have already tried to reformat and can't because it's write protected. Thanks for the suggestions.
