Hi all,
I´ve got a question about the handling of CDs when using a CD-player.
I bought the CD clock radio "Karcher UR 1308" (https://www.karcher-audio.de/index.php/UR1308.html ) and basically I am very happy with it.
However, I have a question about removing (= taking out) an inserted CD.
When I inserted the CD, I noticed that it clicked into place because the mecahnism holding the cd
was made up of a very small black disk with 3 tiny "balls" on the edges. With a clicking sound the cd is then held tight.
So far everything is understandable.
But how exactly do I go about taking out the CD?
Since the CD is being held quite tightly, I have to grasp it by the edges and pull it upwards with some gentle force.
Yet on page 6 of the instructions for use, under "Handling discs", it says:
"Do not bend discs".
As I see it some sort of slight bending can hardly be avoided when removing the disk.
Can you tell me the best way to go about it?
Many thanks in advance for your help and many greetings.
Rosika
