Howdy y'all, I have an Asus GL702vs and I'm trying to remove the monitor and only use an external monitor. the problem I'm having is that if I start the laptop with the screen disconnected, I get no signal via HDMI. If I start it with the built-in monitor connected, there is an HDMI signal though. It might not be posting correctly, but it doesn't make any beeps. I didn't see any bios setting which could help either. Has anyone else ever resolved this issue?
And for context, I'm doing this since the built-in keyboard mostly doesn't work and I already have 2 external monitors. So by removing the screen I can clear up some desk space, tuck it away, and not have to open it up when I need to access the power button
