Removing Monitor Driver caused a problem

well, don't ask me about the monitor driver. A friend of mine using WinME told me that he removed his monitor driver, I said "you mean graphic card driver" he said no, I mean the monitor, he restart his PC, it doesnt work even in safe mode, he again reinstall WinME, but the problem still. The WinME work just for 2 seconds and then his monitor act as a power save.
his PC:
Pentium(R) III 600
Mainboard Intel vc 820
Monitor/Panel:StudioWorks77M / LG
Adapt ATI Rage 128
RAM RDRAM 256

Safe mode should work even without the correct monitor driver.

What is likely happening, is that when he uninstalled his monitor driver, his default display setting is a setting his monitor does not support. Reinstalling ME on top of his old system won't help if the monitor driver is already screwed up. Strange Safe mode doesn't come up though. Safe mode should be 640x480x256x60Hz.

You gave me nide idea.
I will ask him to use another monitor. Then he can reinstall his LG driver. :)...
