Removing Windows 7 and Going back to XP

You will need to purchase a copy of XP and install it.

I think I'd tough it out and learn windows 7. XP is old and microsoft will stop supporting it soon. This means no more updates/security patches. Windows 7 can handle newer hardware better, including native support for SATA drives and trim support for SSD's.

Give it a chance and I'm sure you will like it better than XP.
 
I think it's fantastic that person your age uses a computer. I had a hard time getting my parents to get rid of their rotary dial telephone. :lol:
