My daughter, who runs XP Professional on her laptop, is annoyed that she must
type in a password each time she signs in and that she must change that
password every couple of weeks. We have tried to remove it, but we are, each
time, informed that the account must have a password. Is there any way we can
change this? Thank you for your help.

If she is logging into a domain (for work usually) then she needs to keep
the password.
