i use two installations of windows 2000 on my system to allow for data recovery in case of a crash .

I want to know how to change the name of the installations, when i boot up , it gives me the choice of which OS to start , but they both are called Windows 2000.....lol , how do you change the name of each so you can discern between them.

thankyou

Edit <b>Boot.ini</b> (it's hidden, system file resides in Root sector C:\). Change the name of W2k installation you want <b>only</b> in quotation marks. For example,
"Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" to "Microsoft Windows 2000 <b><font color=red>Backup</b></font color=red>"

 Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.
