Question Repainting my Alienware M15 R2 If possible ?

Hi so my Alienware M15 R2 has lost most of its color due to sun exposure and usage, no smoking though.
The keyboard & trackpad are in good shape. Could i repaint this top palmcase? Like wet sand it down and prime then spray paint same type of lunar white alienware use? If this is possible can someone give me some tips on a good one to do this and also which type of colors? For example do i need to use a clear coat on it aswell or just matt white?

Repainting is possible but if you study the areas where the discoloration is on the laptop's palmrest, you're going to see the paint wear out and probably be worse than what you have now due to the oils and sweat from your hands. You might want to see if you can source a palmrest off of Ebay.

but obviously something in better condition.

That would be a restoration project in and of itself.

Yeah i was thinking of buying from ebay aswell, was just wondering if possible. its a nordic keyboard so i gotta find a Palmrest that is europe mark since some keys differ example Europe left shift key is small but all US Alienware keyboard have a long left shift key.
