Question Repair m2 SSD ".Location is not available F:\is not accessible - incorrect function"

HELP! My old PC died and I could not revive it, even with a new mobo, PSU. I retrieved the OS m2 SSD drive hoping to read it with a M2 NVME | PCI-E to USB enclosure. When I connect it to my laptop I get the error message: ".Location is not available F:\is not accessible - incorrect function" . I can see the device under Disk Drives in Device Manager. I do not see it in Disk Manager. The SSD is partitioned with OS partition and data partition. I would really need to retrieve some user settings and email which had not been backed up recently.

Try another enclosure

If there is any chance that's the answer then I will try another. Will take a while as I have to get someone to bring it from US. Any particular recommendation?

Is there any recommended software I could try - It will be some time before I can get another enclosure so may as well try. Or do the symptoms indicate that that is the only solution?
