repartitioning harddrive

hello,
i need to repartition or remove a partition , the
computer has added a new local drive and re assigned
local drive c and now local drive c is local drive g,
when the computer is boot up it not reading drive G.
i'm useing XP home Edition. HELP HELP

you need to make sure that your old drive is plugged in to the end of
the IDE cable, not the middle. and make sure the jumper on it is set to
"master" and that the other drive is set to "slave".
