I have a D-Link DWL-900AP+, and I am trying to get it to work in repeater mode. I have an SMC Barricade router. D-link tech support won't help, but I read here that this combo should work, I hope someone can help me.
I can get the AP to find the router, and according to the admin screen (connected to pc w/crossover cable) the AP is recieving packets, but not resending them. On the Status page, it confirms that the AP has changed to the right channel, and it has the SSID correct. The log shows that it has connected for repeating. Network Stumbler confirms that the signal is coming from both the router, and the AP.
The only thing that isn't "correct", is that on the status page, the AP is not indicating that it is repeating mode. In fact, it is showing no mode at all ????
So, will I ever get this to work?
