Replace Envy 14 brightview screen with radiance

I am trying to replace an HP Envy 14 standard "Brightview" display with the far superior hi res "Radiance" display. I don't have the Radiance yet, but I was told this is not an easy swap, and there may be difficult to obtain connectors involved. Thanks for any advice or info.

hi guys - thought id revive this thread as i too have the envy14 brightview and am looking at how to install the radiance screen. I already have the screen on its own imported from France and so i'm needing either the screen housing or the correct connectors to fit this to my envy. Any help from you guys would be much appreciated. I will post pics if/when this gets done :/

non yet - im not attempting anything untill there is a correct adapter (or even a bodged one) available.. as yet im told it wont work but im sure its not hard to do. heres hoping hp or another third party company will manufacture the correct parts needed... as yet HP havent responded my my emial.
