Replace graphic card for Dell E6540

This is asked before, but I got a Dell E6540 with a graphic card (Radeon HD 8790M).

I read that this is not the same laptop as the one with just an Intel HD card, so it might be possible to replace the graphic card.

How do I find out what MXM-version I got in the laptop?

You can't replace the gpu on that laptop.

You sure about that? I read, that if I got the model with 8790M it was a different motherboard.

well you would have to replace the entire motherboard.
